Celebrate Oktoberfest on the rails Saturday, September 26, with authentic German food, German beer, and a classic train ride aboard the Smoky Valley Limited!

Schatzi’s Schnitzel Haus of Riley is bringing Oktoberfest to the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad, with Chef Manfred serving up a delicious German-inspired dinner as we travel through the Smoky Hill River Valley.

🍽️ DINNER MENU
Your choice of entrée:
• Golden brown schnitzel with jägersauce (mushroom sauce)
OR
• Rinderbraten — slowly roasted beef in burgundy gravy

Both entrées include:
• Spätzle — traditional soft egg noodle dumplings
• Glazed carrots
• Schatzi’s creamy biramisu — a German twist on tiramisu made with dark beer, Kahlúa, and ladyfingers

Coffee, tea, and water are complimentary. Soft drinks, beer, and wine will also be available for purchase — and for a little something extra, enjoy a classic German beer!

🚂Your two-hour rail adventure departs from Abilene’s historic Rock Island Depot and includes a stop in Enterprise, Kansas, at the historic Hoffman Mill.
