Dr. Patricia E Ackerman will present a program, Clear it Up! at the Abilene Public Library, 209 NW 4th, on Thursday, September 24th at 6 pm. Learn the history of Plain Language in the United States, along with practical tools for creating more readable documents designed for use by the general public.
Dr. Ackerman is a retired Professor Emeritus from Kansas State University, where she taught language arts, critical thinking and technical writing courses for 24 years.
