Brandon Depew lives in Abilene, Kansas, with his wife and three sons. A School Resource Officer by day and storyteller whenever he can find the time, he draws inspiration from small-town life, meaningful relationships, and the simple ways people connect with one another.

When he's not working, Brandon can often be found writing wherever he can set his typewriter (even if it's at his kid's soccer practice,) raising homing pigeons, collecting vintage typewriters, or exchanging letters with pen pals. He has a deep appreciation for old-fashioned communication and believes some of life's best stories are found in everyday conversations and unexpected friendships.

Those passions helped inspire Flight from the Attic, his debut novella, a story that reflects his love of community, connection, and the idea that the most important messages don't always arrive through a screen.
