Belleville Man Arrested on Child Sex Crime Charges

The Abilene Police Department referred a case involving possible child sex crimes to the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office in January 2026. The alleged crimes occurred in approximately 2021.

A Sheriff's Office investigator collected information and launched an investigation. Following that investigation, Alex Tyler Scrivner, 35, of Belleville, Kansas was arrested on April 28, 2026, and booked into the Dickinson County Detention Facility on requested charges of Rape and Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a child.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
