Abilene Police Identify Missing Man Found Deceased in Solomon

The Abilene Police Department said a missing person investigation involving 26-year-old Dominick Campbell of Abilene has ended after Campbell was found deceased in Solomon.

According to a June 17 release from the department, Abilene police began investigating the missing person case on Friday, June 5. Campbell had last been heard from on June 3.

On Tuesday, June 16, deputies with the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office responded to an area in the 200 block of West Fourth Street in Solomon for the report of a dead body. Deputies located a deceased male on the ground behind a former grain elevator.

The deceased male was identified as Dominick Campbell, according to the release.

Police said no foul play is suspected, and no additional information will be released at this time.

The release was approved by Abilene Police Chief Jason Wilkins.
