The Wild Bill Hickok Rodeo, a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event, is scheduled to take place in Abilene, Kansas, from July 28 through July 31. The four-night competition is expected to draw more than 600 contestants.
Events on the schedule include saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, women's barrel racing, and women's breakaway roping. Specialty acts are also planned during each performance.
