Abilene Chamber Hosts Four Events During Busy July Schedule
The Abilene Area Chamber of Commerce held four events throughout July, ranging from networking gatherings to luncheons featuring guest speakers on agriculture and military topics.
Among the events was a Business After Hours networking evening sponsored by SpringHill Suites Abilene, and a Hispanic Business Council Luncheon sponsored by First Financial Bank and hosted at Grain Theory. A Quarterly Agriculture Luncheon took place at Potter's Pizza, where meteorologist Sam Nichols presented a weather outlook for area farmers and ranchers.
The Military Affairs Council held its quarterly luncheon featuring Major General Ty Neuman, Commander of Eighth Air Force and the Joint-Global Strike Operations Center, who spoke about the mission and operations of the Eighth Air Force.
The Chamber has posted its August events calendar on its website for those interested in upcoming activities.
