Seelye Mansion in Abilene Offers Free Tours for Families Through State Program
The Historic Seelye Mansion in Abilene, Kansas, is participating in Kansas Tourism's Sunflower Summer program, which provides free admission for Kansas families with school-aged children during the summer months.
Built in 1905, the Seelye Mansion retains most of its original furnishings and features architecture and design elements from the early 20th century. The home includes a bowling alley that was acquired from the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The mansion is open to the public for tours year-round.
