Abilene to Switch Online Water Bill Payment Systems in August 2026
The City of Abilene is transitioning its online water bill payment system to a new platform called InvoiceCloud, with the change taking effect on August 27, 2026. The new system will handle water bills and other city account payments.
Residents who currently pay their water bills online will need to create new login credentials once the transition occurs. While city account numbers will remain the same, existing usernames, passwords, and AutoPay enrollments will not transfer to the new system. Customers who use AutoPay will need to re-enroll through the new portal.
The city noted that the first water bill payments under the new system will be due September 15, 2026, and is encouraging customers to set up their new accounts promptly. The new payment portal will be accessible through the city's website at www.abilenecityhall.com.
