Abilene Heritage Commission Cancels August Meeting

The City of Abilene's Heritage Commission canceled its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026. The cancellation was announced by the city at 9:40 a.m. that morning.

The commission typically meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Abilene Public Library, 209 NW 4th St. No reason for the cancellation was provided.
