Community Center Gym Reopens August 15 After Floor Refinishing

The gym floor at the Abilene Community Center was refinished Monday, August 10. The gym portion of the facility was closed during the week to allow the new finish to cure and will reopen Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Regular refinishing helps protect the floor and keep it ready for practices, programs, games and other activities held in the gym throughout the year.
