Water Bill Online Payment System Changes August 27; Customers Must Re-Enroll
The City of Abilene is switching to a new online payment system called InvoiceCloud beginning August 27, 2026, for water bills and other accounts. Online payments will remain free, but current online users will need to take action to continue using the service.
Customers will need to create new login credentials, as existing usernames and passwords will not transfer, though City account numbers will stay the same. Anyone using AutoPay must re-enroll through the new system because existing AutoPay information will not carry over.
The first water bill payments following the transition are due September 15, 2026, so customers are urged to act promptly. Current online users will receive an email with a link to the new portal. Residents may also continue to pay by mail, drop box at City Hall, in person, or by phone. Questions can be directed to 785-263-2550 or [email protected].
