Abilene sales tax distribution shows strong August gain
Abilene received $159,957.97 in its August 2026 local sales tax distribution, according to the Kansas Department of Revenue. Dickinson County received $439,288.46 in the same distribution, up 4.7% from $419,602.67 a year earlier.
The August payment reflects June collections. Year-to-date through August, Abilene has received $1,105,884.68 while Dickinson County has received $3,048,621.81.
