Abilene Industrial Park construction and light-pole flag changes to bring crews near roadways in November

Construction is scheduled to begin Nov. 9 at the Abilene Industrial Park. Drivers along NW 14th Street/2300 Avenue near the project should watch for crews and equipment entering and leaving the area.

After Veterans Day on Nov. 11, city crews will change out the flags on light poles along Buckeye Avenue and NW 3rd Street. Drivers should watch for employees and equipment near the roadway and allow extra room when passing.

The City of Abilene asks drivers to slow down, give crews room to work and follow any posted signs or directions in both areas.
